My Cover Letter

I am writing to apply for a position as an engineering graduate in The Manchester Airports Group. As you can see from my attached CV, I have worked in the oil and gas sector, acquired Health, Safety, and Environment knowledge with various HSE related certificates while also improving self-presentation, persuasion and communication skills working as a marketing executive and customer service assistant.

My time as an assistant project engineer and assistant safety officer for Azhutang Nigeria Limited, JV drilling operative assistant for NAPIMS-NNPC and a 2 month field experience with TOTAL E&P Nigeria Limited afforded me the opportunity of working in the oil and gas sector, gaining knowledge from trained engineers, working on site and contributing to daily operations of the various companies.

I have also gained health and safety knowledge with NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety, Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH), Health, Safety and Environment Level 1 and OSHA Job Hazard Analysis certificates. Project management skills have been acquired with the certified project management certificate and various team leadership positions in several school related projects.

During my career progression, I worked as a marketing executive for African Alliance Insurance Limited. I drew from my communication and organizational skills in delivering tangible improvements in terms of recovering abandoned insurance schemes for African Alliance.
